2018 Chardonnay

This Chardonnay from Cockburn Ranch, a new vineyard source for us, is smooth and velvety with rich notes of stone fruits and vanilla. Yes...it's 70% new French oak but the cooperage we used is so unique in the way it imparts oak flavors that everyone loves it!  As it's aged, the vanilla has become more pronounced...reminiscent of a cream sherry.  Pair this with a nice Roquefort blue cheese or a fresh salad with feta and fried prosciutto.
